About Us

We met back in August of 2007 at a local water park on Christian Family day. It didn't take long for us to realize we were meant to be together. We were married a year later in August 2008. Although I have always been an avid fisherman, Andrea was fairly new to the sport. We first started with a regular spinning reel, and about 6 years ago she joined me in learning to fly fish. Together, we spend much of the year traveling to various Missouri/Arkansas state parks and rivers to fly fish and enjoy the outdoors.

I have had the joy of catching multiple fish in the 2 - 4 lb. range. I have probably caught more large Brown Trout in 2023 than I have in the previous years combined. Much of them were caught in a Blue Ribbon area, and not large enough to keep, but still pretty decent size. Andrea has yet to catch that large of a fish, although she is continuing to work on it. Her passion for fishing is not as great as mine, as she enjoys creating art more than fishing. She will always make sure to bring her art supplies with us when we go fishing. She'll do some fly fishing in the morning and then work on her art after her desire to fish has subsided.
